Presentation Title: Integrating geophysical data with mineral systems models from the lithospheric to prospect scale
Dr. Kate Selway is a specialist in MT and the integrated interpretation of geological and geophysical data. After graduating with a PhD from the University of Adelaide in 2007, Kate spent 15 years in research positions at universities including Macquarie, Yale, the University of Oslo and the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory and she is now an Adjunct Assoc. Prof. at the University of Tasmania. She has collected MT data across five continents to investigate both economic and tectonic systems, with particular focus areas in Antarctica, central Australia, Greenland and East Africa. In 2022 Kate founded Vox Geophysics with the goal of helping industry make full use of their MT and geophysical data. She is passionate about supporting exploration companies to integrate robust geophysical interpretations throughout their workflows.
