Overview
This workshop will review potential fields modelling and inversion using the SimPEG open-source 2D and 3D modelling codes and the Geoscience ANALYST Pro Geophysics interface to them. The workshop will be presented in demonstration mode (attendees do not require a laptop).
The workshop agenda will include:
- Brief introduction to Geoscience ANALYST Pro Geophysics
- 2D direct current resistivity/induced polarisation (DCIP) inversion
- 3D direct current resistivity/induced polarisation (DCIP) inversion
- 1D inversion of airborne TEM data
- Introduction to 3D TEM modelling
DCIP and 1D TEM examples will use field data from Australia.
